When I unpacked all the components, my first reaction was that it looked cheap. It's not an expensive chair so I figured it was to be expected. It was easy to assemble until I got to the back. I had to enlist the help of my husband. When the chair was fully assembled I decided it looked better than expected. I sat in my chair for a few hours doing my home office. I was dissatisfied with how it felt like it was pushing me. I regret the purchase and it doesn't look like you can just take the chair apart and pack it back. Then I realized I could adjust the seat, which I did, and now I have a comfortable chair that I'm very happy with. It's been a few days now and I still feel like I'm leaning forward a little. I fold a small blanket and put a few more layers in front of it. Better.
