The two parts of the handle snap together and then snap into place. When I went to use it I found that in my haste in the evening light I had quickly locked them in the opposite direction of the correct position (bottom handle flipped 180 degrees). The end of the handle on mine is reversed from the photo in the listing. It was impossible to unlock the two plastic pieces to flip them over without risking breaking the plastic entirely. It's still usable - a bit more awkward - but since it only works in one direction it should have some (ideally) colored arrows to align it on two parts, or at least some raised alignment arrows like Minimum. One star for that. The microfiber pads are thin and very soft, almost like conventional polishing pads. They have an elastic edge and are simply attached to the head of the stick. It only comes with 2 -- (what do you do after that?). A tiny atomizer is superfluous for most purposes and I don't even need it.
