I bought this amazing cookie jar a few months ago but didn't get a chance to fill it with chocolate treats until last night. All the time she just hung on my counter and no one paid any attention to her. I filled it with cookies last night. An hour later my husband gets one, picks it up by the handle and bang - the handle pops out immediately. The metal segments of the handle holding it to the canister are actually broken! The only way to fix this would be with something like JB Weld, which would then be pretty unsightly - so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. It didn't cost any money. Too bad I didn't use it sooner because it's now past the return period - and I'll definitely be returning it.
