I've been using my last leather belt for over 15 years and it was obvious I needed a new one. However, it was impossible to find a genuine leather belt with a large brass buckle until I found this one. . Just got back from a 3 day trip with it and was not disappointed. Yes, the coating does peel off easily, especially if you're picky about your slings like me, but as this only applies to a rifle sling/outdoor sling I really don't care. I know it will season with time.
