Take the term "lightweight " seriously, this really is a summer duvet.
THIS IS A SUMMER BLANKET. NOT LIKE MY PAST PURCHASES OF VELLUX FLEECE. Last year I bought Vellux duvets similar to these but twice as thick and twice as warm. I want these, they are perfect. I use 1 of these previous blankets to sleep, 2 if it's 50 F in the house at night. It takes 2 to 3 blankets to do the same job as last year's 1 fleece blanket. I thought light weight meant the material was lighter than cotton with the same heat resistance, but in this case it means it's a lot thinner. Winter White is more of a yellowish white than true 100 year old ivory.
