Poor airflow for deer
Reindeer legs don't stand wind or rain I guess because the airflow to deer goes through small 2 1/2 inch diameter tubes so they easily collapse under the weight of the rain. Santas and sleighs are fine, but reindeer, if the wind is blowing or it's raining, let them lie down. After drying, they rise again.
