Excellent customer service

The first thing you need to know is that I don't usually write product reviews. I need good reasons and time with the product. I am not rating a product based on the USPS shipping service, my inability to understand that the product will cause damage, or if I ordered the wrong item or color. I'm just checking what I know and what's relevant to another buyer. Apart from that, I've refrained from reviewing some items that I'm not happy with lately because everyone needs a break these days during the pandemic. However, I will mention some of them in this review as they are relevant to this product review. My apologies if this is distracting or confusing. I have to admit that I get a bit anxious when buying items online. I never know if I'll find the best product for me without having hard evidence that just doesn't seem to come from pictures and random reviews. But I needed to build a work-from-home system, and all of my personal electronics seemed to have long past their recommended lifespans. So the hunt began. This is how I connect my dying laptop, my work laptop and my old Mac mini with two outdated monitors, keyboards and tired mice. Add to that the fact that I needed a new streaming device to plug into a horribly old TV. So I looked for adapters, cables, dongles, expansion ports, converters, etc. In short, I bought more than I needed and came to the conclusion that I should buy a new Mac mini, parallels to run a new virtual Windows system and use a Remote Desktop has allowed me to tidy up my desk, cut down on cables, and use just one keyboard and mouse. I'm not entirely happy with the new keyboard, but that's my fault and the lessons learned from the new technology are taking some getting used to. So. It's been 2 months since the new design and I'm here to tell you about the LENTION USB-C to USB-C Cable (Braided 3ft 100w Fast Charge Cable). Please read on. I'll get to the point. I originally bought this cable to use with my new LETSCOM Ultra Slim Wireless Charger for my iPhone. I wanted to be able to charge my phone throughout the day without having to unplug it and plug it back in every time one of my co-workers texts me. (I need to charge my phone at night when most people put off charging their phones, so charging during the day is important to me.) Wireless charging seemed like the best option to me. It got good reviews and promised fast charging when connected with the right cable and power bank. It seemed broken and didn't seem to charge the phone all the time. However, I have yet to try it with this cable or with a fast charge source (PD capable). That's why I bought this cable. It arrived the same day I received my new Mac mini and other supplies, so I immediately thought it would be a good idea to plug a wireless charger into one of the Mac's USB-C ports. However, the cable did not fit. It didn't even fit in the wireless charger. The ends look okay, but it took too much effort to get the ends into the ports and I was glad I turned off my new Mac. So I threw the cable in the box with all the other old/unused cables and items and forgot about it until LENTION contacted me and asked if I liked my new cable. hmmmm What can I say? I wanted to write to you and tell you that I'm unhappy, but I'm busy and it's slipped my mind. Her contact with me made me change my mind and I informed her of the issue. Without hesitation they asked me what devices I wanted to use with the cable, even the model numbers and they confirmed that I had indeed bought the right cable. I had. So they asked me again without thinking. Ask me! whether I wanted a replacement cable or my money back. They apologized and even said I didn't have to return the old cable. They knew the shipping cost wasn't worth it and they would have just thrown it away anyway. There was no way to tell why the cable was bad, and it didn't matter. Manufacturing problems, quality control failures and shipping damage are not uncommon. The real problem was that the customer was unhappy and wanted to solve THE problem. That's great customer service! It never contained accusations, doubts or accusations. Always polite and respectful and approachable. Quick replies to messages and prompt (but not tedious) actions. After exchanging the delivery information, a new replacement cable was already on its way. I needed a cable and honestly I wanted to give them a reason to doubt it was an accidental manufacturing defect. The excellent customer service helped me in the decision, as did the build quality of the cable. Seems indestructible. Only time will tell, but as you can tell from this review, I'm keeping things FOREVER. So when I think he has that stamina. It means something. That being said, I'm also very respectful of my electronics and gear. I don't scatter my phone, put it in my back pocket, or treat it like a puppet. For those of you who abuse things and expect them to stay forever, I cannot solve this problem. I will not drive my car over the cable, use it as a zip tie, bend it a million times, or bend the connectors to check workmanship. I take care of my things. and they usually go on. Mainly because I'm trying to buy a quality item once. and take care of it instead of many inferior replacement items. Well the new cable arrived quickly, it fits much better than the first cable and works great. Even a wireless charger now plugged into a valid PD port for fast charging seems to work much better with this cable than the one that comes with it for slow charging, but the older, more common USB-AI looks at the cable and I can see the rubberized ends tension, thick high-quality braided cable and seemingly good workmanship (except for the first cable, which was clearly not up to standard). Will you have the same experience as me? I personally hope that you get the perfect cable the first time and don't have to contact the support team. I can't say how often that happens. All I can tell you is that I got exactly what I needed from the two cables and it appeared to be of high quality. That's why I'm writing this review. During this pandemic, workers are struggling to stay healthy and safe, and things can happen in the manufacturing process right now that don't normally happen. However, the real test of a product is how the company maintains it and how it responds to adversity and challenges. And to me, LENTION has excellent customer service and I wouldn't worry about buying from them again. Now. If anyone can help me replace my new fancy blue key mechanical keyboard with one that actually has springs that add depth AND resistance instead of just a click. I will be a happy person.
