Many car phone mounts come with windshield and vent mounts but I have always been disappointed with the vent mount. They fall off easily. I never rely on them. In California, a good vent mount is essential to prevent your phone from getting hot on the dashboard or windshield due to the sun's heat. Installing it in AC powered air vents is the only way to keep your phone from frying unless hidden. Turns off even when fully charged. My point is that vent mounts are the best option for most people, but good ones are hard to come by. This product is one of the good ones. Both mounts are solid, but I really couldn't help but notice the strength of the vent mount. There is a locking system that works. It comes with an optional plastic mount for dash or other desired mounting locations. The device easily mounts and holds my iPhone 11 max pro, which I think is the largest iPhone to date. I was impressed. As you can understand, I am satisfied with the product and there have been no complaints so far.
