As summer shoes, I only wore Ben Sherman slippers. The size was approaching, comfortable interior, quality materials. But this summer I've tried on different colors and styles and I've come to the conclusion that, like everything else post-pandemic, they lack quality, use cheaper materials and, frankly, they're just uncomfortable. no socks in summer so the inside of my shoes should be soft. Except that the shoes are still stiff (I rinse them in the washing machine and then wear them wet while drying so they fit my feet better and break in a bit easier). But after a few uses they are still quite stiff, I can tell the rubber isn't as stretchy as it used to be and the worst thing is the Ben Sherman tag they sewed onto the heel of their shoes. I use a very stiff thread that is more like fishing line. It feels like a few stones are resting at the heel. I'll try to cut them out but I don't think it will ever work properly. I wish they wouldn't mess around with stuff like this, or if they do, how about you put them on first and see how they feel before you sell them to the rest of the world. Very upset because I love Ben Sherman. Go back to your old lifestyle and I will continue to buy three or four pairs every summer. (Not that I'm keeping Ben Sherman afloat, but I usually buy four pairs of slippers in the summer, but this year I've returned all but one pair, and this will probably be my last pair for a while). Shoes or flip flops until next summer.
