This really is the best baby gate I have ever seen. The design is great! They really have thought of almost everything. First, the lower bracket is adjusted to the skirting board. Unfortunately, we couldn't use this design feature as we also have a "shoe shape" (or what my husband called it) on our baseboards, so we installed it right above it, leaving it slightly off the ground. . But it's still a great design. Another great thing about this design is that it can be easily removed from the wall mounts. It is extremely secure as it screws into the wall but is easily removable allowing you to remove or open the gate if required. That's important because my father is disabled, so we wanted a gate that he could easily walk through. With this design, you simply unhook one side and reveal the whole. Those were the two things that really stood out about the design. Good product. Easy installation. Highly recommended
