Great skirt! I'm actually a grown woman, 29 years old, and I needed a pleated uniform skirt. I haven't seen it in adult sizes. So I took the child size 16. Actually, I could take size 14. Inside is an adjustable waistband that makes the waist appear narrower. It may be a little longer than I'd like, I wanted it to be a little above the knee and cover my knee quite a bit, but it's GOOD. But since I'm an adult, it might even fall on your shins if you buy one for your kid. This is excellent quality. Very thick and appears to be well made. I would recommend buying it if you need it.
