I am really surprised by the quality of this comb. In fact, it looked so intricate that at first I thought it was molded out of plastic. Very even and dense spaces between the teeth, which are somehow even flexible. I had to scrape off a tiny piece and burn it to make sure it really was a horn. Yes. It smells like burnt hair, so it's true. The case is made of plastic, but I can live with that. First, if you apply it on wet hair, it may smell bad for a while. The smell seems to go away with prolonged use. I assume it's leftover horn dust that needs to be washed away over time.
