I love these bowls! The looks are amazing and they protect your hands from freezing when you eat ice cream and prevent your hands from getting burned when you eat something hot. The only downside is that they are not dishwasher safe, hand wash only. But washing my hands is not an obstacle for me. So far so good in terms of durability and strength. They look fragile but I haven't had any problems so far. These bowls are wonderful. Addendum: So far I wasn't sure about the strength and durability of the shells. Well, not anymore. I was washing the bowl, it slipped out of my hand and fell into the sink. OH NO! I was pleasantly surprised that the bowl was not damaged after the impact in the sink. As such, these shells are surprisingly strong. Now I love her even more.
