These bulbs are bee knees. They are amazingly bright. Replaced our horrible PUTCO bulbs after 7 years of use. OSRAMS bathes the street in a beautiful white carpet of light. Can't say enough about her. The inscription "OFF ROAD ILLEGAL STREET" on the packaging is interesting. It's been 2 months on our MKX with no issues with the law or visiting drivers. I really like these lightbulbs. Since our MKX has factory-installed OSRAM ballasts, I didn't want to get involved with any other manufacturer. Others have said that when you take off you get that BLUE beam for about 4 minutes and then everything goes WHITE! In bluish mode, it reminds me of my favorite AUTO horror movie "CHRISTINE".
