It's 20G, NOT 18G!
This item is advertised as 18G; However, I used calipers to check and they are 0.79mm in diameter which is 20G. I hate the sizing discomfort that could happen if I wear them for a while and go back to one of my 18G pieces. Also, the hinge is so conspicuous that it doesn't look very good in the boat.
