I originally bought Thayers Aloe Vera Witch Hazel and was delighted. Bought several times over the years and always very satisfied. However, in July I reordered it because I only had a few and somehow I ended up with one that says it was an astringent and I didn't realize until I used it for the first time (9/25/20) that it contains alcohol. That means I was stung badly. The reason I always liked the original I bought that was alcohol free was because I could use it on my grandkids' scratches and it never stung. Of course it's too late to return it now, so I'm very disappointed because the labeling isn't really clear. They need to make labels that are more distinguishable because it's a waste of my money. I would never have ordered this if I had known there was alcohol in it. But I'll definitely order the original I had before which doesn't contain alcohol.
