I have used this tape on several books in many states of destruction. The tape sticks well to other fabric materials and shiny bindings, but better on fabric upholstery. Easily tears to desired size without cutting the tape. I haven't had any general issues after a month of use, other than getting stuck to the book in places where I've only used small pieces, or around ledges without much wrapping. Overall I am very happy with this product and will likely order again in the future. - (very) lover of hobby bookbinders
