A convenient way to move/store jigsaw puzzles

At first I was skeptical of the idea that the jigsaw could not maintain its integrity and curl up. Well, I was half right. It holds most of the puzzle together when rolled up, and small pieces that fall apart are easy to fix. fall apart. Of course, they're still in the right place, so fixing them is pretty painless. But that's not the reason for deducting a star. (I think this is a physics issue, not a design flaw) The only issue I have with the product is that it is made from a fiber mat that is not 100% smooth. Now I don't know the logistics of making this product, nor do I know about the tests that led to the selection of this material as the final product, but what I do know is that the pieces are fibrous and not exactly smooth and don't slide well over it . They're constantly snagging on the fibers, and if you try to move a particularly large area to a different location, most of the time it will snag and break. There are probably dozens of ways around this, so it's not a problem. It might be possible to cover the rug with art paper or a large piece of wrapping paper to make things slide easily. Perhaps there is a spray that will encapsulate the fibers better but still allow the mat to curl. (I didn't study it though) - What I did. I have a thin piece of plastic-coated cardboard (like the kind you get cable company promotional offers in the mail) that I slide under the larger pieces I plan to move around and use as a spatula. (A postcard or greeting card would probably work, too.) But other than that, I have no complaints and it mostly does what it says on the tin. Comes with a nice bag to put the wrapped puzzle in, which is very neat. I hope it will be useful and bring you joy!
