This is a wonderful necklace. I could tell from the mannequin around the neck that it was quite a long necklace, but I wasn't sure how thick and/or heavy it would be. I wanted something more visible than a simple chain, but still delicate (that's how it is). The braids are about 3/8" wide so this necklace is not flashy at all, it is very light and therefore comfortable to wear. The sizing is perfect for showing off intricate weaving details; the gold and black beads are very small and reflect that Light beautiful.I was also hoping they would be long enough to double up and wear as a short necklace (and that is what is beautiful and adds versatility).The hand beads are braided very well even.If the braids during twist or loosen during wear or if one of the strands pulls out easily you can easily unfold the necklace and snap it back into shape The hardware is light but well made and looks solid The clasp is quite large and easy to open, which is great for me as I often tinker with small ones I think this necklace looks pretty festive and would pair just as well with jeans and a black sweater n, but also to something more elegant. Well made and seems very good for such a low price ($12.99 at the time of this review).
