This is a very slim fitting shirt. The fabric is also thin, making it more of a layering piece for the colder months than an outer layer that looks weird with a quarter zip. In any case, the fabric is not bad, not very stretchy and tight. If you want to layer your clothes, which you'd love to do in most winter climates, be sure to go up a size. This went to a 14 year old boy who normally wears medium sized clothes although the adult liked the look of the fabric but was uncomfortable wearing it.
