This turntable is exactly what I was looking for. The box is made of high-quality imitation leather, lined with felt on the inside. The record is simply placed on the turntable and has three speed settings. The stylus has a slow release mechanism to avoid damaging the record when the stylus comes into contact with the record. There is also a function to automatically stop or continue playing the player after the needle reaches a certain point on the record. At one setting, the platter will stop turning as soon as the needle reaches center, while at another setting, it will continue to turn even when there is no sound playing. I like to use this setting to keep it going and use the Bluetooth feature to keep playing music from my phone. The Bluetooth connection is a nice feature because I can plug in my phone and play any song I want and not have to spend a lot of money on recordings when I can play songs on You Tube for free. The speakers are good enough to play recordings, but don't expect super loud and clear tones when you plug in your phone and play loud pop music. You can also adjust the bass and treble for the speakers. Overall this is a very good turntable and I am very happy with what I got for the price. Durable and aesthetic, with loud and clear sound.
