The Sparthos Caviar compression sleeves were very convincing. I recently had severe leg cramps that limited my running and training time during this long, cold off-season. I run mostly outdoors on trails, sidewalks, and nearby trails. I inevitably get calf cramps after every run, which also affects my gait and endurance. I even had painful leg cramps in the middle of the night after a long hard run the night before. I started considering calf sleeves as an option to save myself further pain. I went to different stores and tried different combinations of neoprene, spandex and nylon but was never satisfied. The neoprene was compressed tightly, but became sweaty and sticky after use. The spandex/nylon combos were too thin and didn't provide adequate compression. When I put on the Sparthos Compression Calf Sleeves I immediately felt the favored compression whilst still allowing for some breathability. This was very easy as the ties at either end allow for enough stretch. I squeezed my calf and any wobble was contained. Really nice. I did long runs and fast sprint/walk workouts at the stadium. The sleeves don't move at all! No tingling or sweating. I usually don't take the sleeve off until at least an hour after a workout and I feel like it has recovery functions as well. I definitely agree that this Sparthos sleeve has helped relieve a lot of my muscle pain and I feel less tired overall. Since wearing these Sparthos sleeves, I no longer have calf pain. Many thanks to Ingrid who was very responsive to my satisfaction with the case. Ingrid helped me reset to medium size. I have 16" calves and wanted more compression so I could size down and get what I thought was the perfect combination. The blue color and woven seamless pattern are eye-catching, and the material looks and feels very durable. The spartan symbol is fun. (Coincidentally I'm training for the Spartan Sprint Race in June) - I recommend you try these sleeves. Ingrid and her team are very customer oriented.
