Several reviews have mentioned the limited space in this channel. I agree but it was exactly what I needed for the product. It took a bit of effort, but after straightening the piece (the hot water method was easy) I snipped off the ends and was able to plug in a large enough power cord from the extension plus an audio cable for my speaker system. That was all the product could hold up, but it was ideal because my goal was to eliminate trip hazards while still allowing the door to open easily over the installed product. The piping lays nicely and evenly on my carpet and the door doesn't touch it when opening and closing. highlighted.
