My husband bought these for our son at camp (like what I described?) and they are a waste of plastic. They are of little use for carrying, but are as unattractive and strong as marshmallows. The material and assembly quality is abysmal. I wish I could catch buying them before they spend the day at camp so I can return them. In the end, my son preferred running shoes, despite the boating and swimming needs. money down the drain.
