You need to sew the cleavage area, it's as open as the rest of the bust when you get it first. When it does get wet the skirt, which sits so well on your thighs when dry, is on your knees - use the little buttons they attach to the skirt once you get wet so it looks the same length when you come no more water. The waist was very loose for me but it was easy to sew up so it fits well now. When the torso is too short, as was the case with me, the suit is adjusted to stay in place. Underwires and the breast cups themselves aren't sewn on, but that's not the end of the world. Just adjust it. The open back is worth it, it's so pretty! Anyway, I love this suit, it's cute as hell and modest enough without being unattractive.
