I give 4 stars because the price is reasonable and well made. Didn't work for my house. A few questions.1. When she caught the litter my cat for some reason thought it was a new litter box. My guess is that the spatula doesn't fall to the mat like the others, but stays on the surface. 2. It doesn't have as much dirt as other carpets. You know the ones that look like plastic sponges? They collect a lot more junk, but what pissed me off is that you can't get all the junk out of them. This rug solved that problem but didn't pick up enough dirt in my opinion. Overall, a good product just didn't work in my home.
