The first thing that struck me when I opened the box were some stickers made in Vietnam. Now I know Samsung is in South Korea and I checked, and AKG is from Austria, so the stickers are "Made in Vietnam". ' were an obvious red flag. They don't sound like the headphones that come with the Note 8. I tried them side by side and the difference between them day and night is huge. On its own, without comparing it to the AKG headphones that come with Samsung, I'd say it's fine, probably about as good as the headphones that come with the iPhone. However, for those who want to replace the AKG headphones that came with the Galaxy phone, LOOK ELSEWHERE, please don't waste your time, they don't look like the originals. You can feel it by holding them by the cord just below the earbuds themselves, they're noticeably lighter than the original AKGs that came with the Note 8.
