I wish I bought it before I started losing weight. My old scale was inaccurate and I didn't even weigh myself when I was at my worst, so I can only estimate my baseline. I know I lost at least 10 pounds when I got these and this scale has helped me celebrate my progress and keep me motivated! When I received it I found I was 3 pounds heavier than I was on my last scale. What disappointed. And checking the readings the first few times wasn't something I was looking forward to, but after a few days I was seeing progress of this magnitude! All but a few readings were red at first, but then one turned orange and I was hooked! I only have a percentage of body fat left, but it's going down! Seeing different indications change, just like me, has been a true blessing. Especially on the days when I'm going astray lol. because I see things are not as bad as I thought and it helps me get my mind back to where it should be. I use this scale in conjunction with Lose It! app and I also take screenshots after my daily weigh in so I can compare my readings to where I started when I got the scale. I also like that I can just charge it instead of buying expensive batteries that end up in landfill. Seriously, this is one of the best purchases I've ever made and I'd happily take it with me on vacation.
