Pleasant smell in the bathroom, especially before guests arrive. Doesn't overload or irritate nose/eyes/lungs like sprays or plug-in air fresheners. But the 30-second wait, and at least in our slightly hard water, makes it impractical to use to prevent odors. However, it is definitely useful to keep it in your pocket or purse while you visit or at work, workplace, etc. and toss it in the toilet after flushing to discreetly reduce/too the smell cover. If you wash your hands thoroughly, it will dissipate, odors will be gone, and the smell of the pill will not choke anyone who enters right after you.
