If you're considering buying this for your kitty after surgery, don't think about just buying it! My kitten needed to be spayed and they gave her the old cone of shame that she hated when the pain meds from her original surgery ran out. She was uncomfortable, occasionally bumping into things, accidentally throwing trash out of the box, eating and drinking was such a fuss, and she kept slipping out of her cone because she's a smart little cat. best alternative and found it. GAME CHANGE. I didn't have to worry about her cone dislodging, getting the stitches and getting an infection. After that, everything went back to normal for her. Of course, she didn't really like the costume (although she was happy to be out of the cone), but the healing process helped her because she didn't want to move around too much. Definitely recommend!
