The skirt constantly rides up, both in and out of the water. If you're looking for a mold wear effect, this one has ZERO. Even if you bought it too small, I think it will break because the quality is mediocre. If you want to hide abdominal fat or excess skin, this will NOT help. I thought the skirt might camouflage my lower abdomen but it almost accentuates it. If you're just looking for something comfortable and don't care about how it looks, then this might be a good choice, but a skirt that rides up is so annoying that simple swim capris are your best bet.
