When you buy clothes online it's hard to know if the quality of the fabric is going to be below average. It's like a shirt I would buy in a store - soft enough cotton. The material was a little stiff but I think once the FR's are washed off the clothing they will go away. My petite three year old niece fit was true to size - I wouldn't say the shirt was loose or tight. The style is cute too, of course, so I took a chance on buying it first. My niece looked adorable in this shirt. I would recommend buying if you're thinking about it.
