The left earphone often loses connection with the right ear when listening to music. The left ear suddenly completely disconnects from the right ear when listening to music, and once it does, it's difficult to reconnect. I updated the firmware hoping that would fix these issues, but it didn't. I really wanted the firmware to fix the frequent left ear disconnection issue because I was dying to keep these headphones. I have had so many Bose products over the years and they are very expensive including a Bose headset that I had for 4 years which I got for $350 at the time and they are still very good. SoundSport Audio sounds amazing and the base is clearly superior to AirPods, but given the high price of this product, no one should have to deal with such technical issues. I've read some discussions where people complained and were told it might not be their phone causing the technical issues they were having. I am using the iPhone 7 plus with the latest update installed. So I'm sure it's not a problem with my phone. Unfortunately, as much as I love Bose products, I will have to return them. Bose Soundsort update. I love Bose so much that I decided to give them a second chance by buying them directly from the Bose store three days after I returned the ones I bought from Revain. All of the technical issues I had with the ones I bought from Revain are gone with these new pairs straight from the Bose store. They work great. I am convinced that the pair I received from Revain were either defective or one of the first faulty versions. My friends are Bose lovers. don't give up on these SoundSports just yet. The sound is amazing when you get a flawless pair. Update after 2 years of use: I felt compelled to update this review after using my Bose Sound Sport for just over 2 years. I take very good care of it too. However, the left ear suddenly stopped connecting via Bluetooth or receiving sound. The button on the left ear didn't toggle between devices. Now only my right ear works. I'm very disappointed considering how much I paid for it. I contacted Bose and all they could tell me was that they would give me a discount that is only $20 off the price they are currently selling for. My husband bought Apple EarPods the same day. It was lying in the driveway, soaked from the rain. But nothing came of it. Remember that my Bose headset is still working after 6 years. I actually bought replacement foam for both ears and they look like new again. My children are happy now. I don't think I'll get another sporty Bose sound. I'm not ready to change it back anytime soon after spending so much money on it.
