Wish I'd taken a picture beforehand but I didn't. I managed to get some sweat stains off the front of my hat, but the top is actually darker and dirtier than before. It also wrinkled the front of my hat and the elastic inside. None of these were wrinkled before. Worst of all, he somehow managed to rip the part of my hat where the visor meets the mesh. I used this in my washing machine and followed the instructions on the T. I washed it twice because I was disappointed with the results after seeing the dirt on the top of the hat. Next I will wash the entire black hat with heavy sweat stains and update my review if necessary. I'm just so worried that my favorite cap is ruined. Update: I washed another flexible fit hat and got similar results. The band and the front of the hat are dented. This one was embroidered and the seams were a little torn. Probably due to the sharpness of the plastic edges of the frame, I would guess. I'm even more disappointed than before as it was the softball team cap that I've been wearing for a number of years now. I dropped from 2 to 1 star. Part of me was hoping my previous cap was just poor quality, but I don't think that's the case. There's no chance I'm going to put one of my most expensive custom hats in this contraption after seeing what it just did.
