. I ordered an HP 256G flash drive. HP is a reputable manufacturer but I had no experience with their flash drives. It is a good looking product and its metal body gives the impression of a quality product. I like that the USB connector can be removed for protection instead of having to remove the cap which is too easy to lose. There is also a slot for attaching a lanyard if desired. The drive is USB 3.1 technology, which the manufacturer says offers read speeds of up to 400MB/s and write speeds of up to 180MB/s. While I can't fully test its capabilities, during my limited testing, this drive was much faster than any other I've used.
