I had to look at 100 different large mouse pads before I clicked on this purchase. I'm SO happy I did. I almost bought another one because it was late but when I checked again they had stock so I ordered right away. I bought the peony black design and it looks great on my desk even with my laptop, mac pro, monitor, laptop stand and keyboard. Despite all that, the pad is big enough to fit a mouse, and it works great with my Logitech MX Anywhere 2S mouse too. When it arrived I could not detect any carpet smell. I unpacked it, spread it out on the table and done. He settled perfectly from the start. I'm thinking of getting another one as a backup just in case I really like it.
