Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Probably few people will believe, but I have been a user of this mouse for about 14 years. She is not tenacious, but a meticulous person will resurrect her many times because she does not have 9 lives, but probably all 99. After about three years of use, annoying double clicks began, at first I endured it, but then I went to the forum and read that the plastic under the buttons wears out quickly and does not reach the button itself. I solved the problem by disassembling it and dripping a little superglue on the plastic. But he was worn out again. The question is what Logitek thought, putting plastic under a button of this quality. I think that the user will throw out the mouse and buy a new one. By the way, when parsing tore off two bolts. Again, this plastic. All bolts are hidden behind rubber inserts and stickers behind the batteries. Difficult to find. While looking for almost broke the case. After about 5 more years of use, the buttons began to either stick or give out double clicks. Dismantled. Tore off another thread with a bolt by accident. The glue didn't rub off. Gust on the forum found out that this mouse has another problem. Click contacts oxidize quite quickly. The forum was told and shown how to reanimate the mouse. Disassemble the mouse, disassemble the mini click box, remove the click plate and clean it. Putting the plate back on is even more difficult. Then a click box so that the button itself does not fall onto the plate. In short, tin and perversion, but we are not looking for easy ways) As a result, I have a mouse with an almost broken body, which is held on by two bolts, all scratched, dirty (so I will not post pictures). But it still WORKS. Just like a zombie. Yes, she has many shortcomings, but I have become so attached to her that I can hardly do without her. And yet I think to find a Chinese analogue, because. it is much cheaper and better quality. If Logitech support gives me the same one, I will continue to use it. Does anyone know how to write to them?

Pros
  • A huge number of buttons, feels like a glove in the hand (at least in mine), fast scrolling function, runs on batteries that are easy to replace
Cons
  • Pretty quick failure, expensive, poor quality of components and plastic
