Review on πŸŒ€ Women's Heatless Curling Headband with Hair Clips, Scrunchie, and Silk Ribbon Rollers - No Heat Curling Ribbon for Sleeping Curls by April Bailey

Not as easy as it seems.

I have the concept and if done right and with the right hair it works. The problem is getting it right lol. The satin ribbon doesn't hold any weight at all so it slides everywhere and doesn't sit still when you wrap your hair at both ends. I assume that's what the giant clip is for? But it's only big enough to wrap around the headband and it's not grippy enough to grab hair along with the headband, so it doesn't even secure to the head. If you let it sit on your head long enough to wrap your hair around the ends, just make sure your hair is slightly damp or still very hot after you blow dry it. Leave until dry or cool, or at least 2 hours and you're done. DO NOT sleep with him, you will only waste your time, sleep uncomfortably and get flat hair. I tried it when my hair was below my chest and it worked well, but then I cut it just below my collarbone and now it just curls the ends and gives me a curly vibe that I'm just not here for . My hair is thin, greasy and naturally curly, but the curls fall out quickly. but that's probably more of a "my hair" issue as it's shorter now and a bit tousled at the ends (but healthy at the roots). I used this item a few times, maybe a week or two, but eventually I got tired of fighting it and the satin fabric pushes most of my hair against my head more than anything else so it just sits in my hair tool box now . I found this worked best when I applied it after blow drying my hair fully, applied it while my hair was still hot, and let it set while I prepped the rest of me. This is really the only time it has worked really well. At night or wet hair was just a mess. I wish I had it back but by the time I decided I didn't need it it was too late.

Pros
  • No heat
Cons
  • I will add later
