I love everything about these rods. The aroma is very subtle. I didn't smell much until I rubbed my face with a wet strip. I wish it smelled stronger - yes. If it smells stronger - probably not. Naturally scented items do not smell as strongly as artificially scented items. If I wanted something with a very strong smell, I'd have to buy something more artificial, which I don't need. The shape is perfect for holding and manipulating around my nose. I love this scrub so much I use it on my body too. When I'm done, my face will be soft, smooth and lightly hydrated. I still use facial oil when I get out of the bath, but my skin doesn't feel tight and stripped when I use the bar. The scrub is not too hard or too light. You want something soft for your face, but I'm definitely feeling the sugar. I love this bar so much that I hope one day they turn it into a full size body bar. I really feel spoiled rubbing it on my face. I love the subtle scent when I use it. Exfoliation in perfection!
