This kit was a hit. The unit had a partial opening for a cover to fit the bracket that came with the tweeter. I used a steak knife to remove the lid rings. And on the fake tweeter cover and on the midrange. The tweeter mount fit perfectly in the hole. So I drilled a hole for the wires and "pilot holes" to screw on the bracket. After soldering the wires to the speaker everything worked. They're a little bright, so I recommend using an extra resistor in the line. But overall it was a simple mod and I'm happy with the look. A hole saw could be flush mounted, but I didn't care. They work. For $10, it's hard to beat. The system is better. The equalizer improved the sound.
