Review on Enhance Your Outdoor Experience with Klipsch AWR-650-SM Sandstone (Ea.) Outdoor Rock Speaker by Jessica Gibson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is not cheap. There is also no lifetime guarantee.

I've had a set of Boston Acoustic rock speakers for a few years. Not 100% sure how long they lasted. 10 years, maybe in Midwest weather, always outside. When one fell out last week, he was looking for a replacement. I was talking about Bose, wall mount, but I liked that my old ones sat in the landscape unnoticed, so I pulled out the Tiger. First, the color is much better. My old ones were "light granite" that stuck out a bit. They merge with each other. They were about the same weight. Klipsch is slightly larger. The wiring was the same as for a two channel speaker (right and left in one) but I connected it as one channel (right and left). They're far enough apart to still work in stereo, and you don't lose that cool effect when songs use stereo. (Guitar riff can come from one speaker, then vocals from another). I took out the inflated one and put in the first one. I then used the balance slider to toggle between old and new. The Klipsch sound is MUCH better. To be fair, Boston had seen better days, but they still sounded good until they stumbled upon Klipsch. So I have no regrets. They look great and sound great. Delivery was quick, I was glad they would rock on pool day. If we ever see the sun again.
