Got this for my daughter. She usually wears a size 6 or 7. We ordered a size 7/8 to give her room to grow. It's definitely a little big for her, but the elastic waistband means it fits perfectly. My daughter loves the bags! The material is thick and sewn well. The hem is not sewn with a traditional hem, so it has a slight fold over that makes it look like a ruffle. At first I thought it was a mistake, but looking at the skirt as a whole, that's the design. Adds a little flared skirt. Suitable for church, school or home. The simple cotton skirt is a bit overpriced.
