Wrong wire connection

As Jonas and Ryan said, the switch is wired incorrectly. Connected this way, it will not protect your meter when it is first connected. It does not protect against the initial surge of power consumed by the car computer and other accessories. I'm going to wire my switch like they do. Otherwise it appears to be well built.

Pros

The battery tester consists of pure copper flexible wires. One end consists of pure copper insulated banana plugs for multimeters. At the other end are pure iron clamps. The overall shade of red and black is easily distinguishable.
