TSA picked the lock and now it's useless.

I bought locks for my son's ski trip. Security unlocked his snowboard and left it open in his pocket. The combination he originally used to set the lock doesn't work and I've tried all 999 possible combinations and nothing works. The lock is stuck in the open position. I also tried resetting it but it doesn't work, the bow doesn't move. It can get stuck in the down position.
