Waterproof? It closes very tight and I won't be sailing it that fast to keep it on my bike, it looks like it will hold up whatever the weather. Durability: It goes without saying that it is very well made with the right density material. Easy to remove: I don't bite my nails to my fingertips so removing it wasn't a problem at all. If you do without nails, just insert a toothpick into the case and problem solved.
