So this review has two parts: 1. about the product, 2. about the seller. Belt: I bought this belt because I like the look of it. have a standard belt buckle, even if it is a ratchet belt. Everything seems to be well made although I've only had it for a week so time will tell how long it lasts. What sets this strap apart from most other ratchet straps is the release mechanism. Most of them have a small lever located at the top of the belt. This type of lever can be accidentally bumped from time to time, usually when it's leaning against something. When this happens your belt loosens and sometimes it happens at an awkward time like a work meeting! However, with this harness you have to lift the entire buckle to disengage the ratchet, which I don't think would ever happen accidentally. All in all, this is a great belt at a great price. Seller (CHAOREN DESIGN STUDIO): It was a pleasure to work with this team as they solved my problem quickly. I ordered a belt and ended up not liking the color of the belt buckle (it looked silver on screen but was dark bronze) but the color of the belt itself was perfect. I then ordered a second belt and when it arrived I liked the silver buckle but I didn't like the color of the belt as it was different. So to get what I wanted I had to take a belt from one order and a buckle from another order and I was hoping to return a different belt and buckle that I didn't like. I opened a chat with Revain and while they were very friendly and helpful they said I couldn't mix and match and get refunds. I then contacted CHAOREN directly and they confirmed that Revain could not get a hybrid return but because they appreciate my patronage they refunded my second purchase but I kept both straps. Fantastic customer service!
