Pros: It's durable and seems well made. For the price it's worth it. Cons: We bought this because he lost his MTC brand excavator while we were out of town. The MTC has electronic sounds, lights, rubber wheels, more points of articulation and gear movements for a very similar price. I bought it specifically because my son loves to play in the mud and sand. The handle gives the impression that you can dig comfortably with it. This is purely cosmetic. The shovel/bucket is loose, preventing him from digging with the handle without holding the bucket. Defeat the target. Conclusion: Pay a little more and get an MTC excavator. It's worth it.
