When I first applied this mascara I thought I was in love! It smells like cocoa and finds every tiny hidden lash, separates and lengthens. A dream to apply with an excellent glide that never sticks, peels or hardens. My lashes have never looked better! I genuinely thought I'd found "the right one" until I looked in the mirror about an hour after applying. Dark spots under my eyes like I've burst into tears all day and not a normal day. I thought, well, maybe my eye cream is too heavy. The next time I applied this mascara, I powdered my lashes to make sure they (and the skin around them) were dry and hoped the mascara didn't seep into the creases under my eyes. This didn't help either. And I couldn't just dampen a cotton swab to clean it. I literally had to wash off the detergent and washcloth in the shower.
