The bristles are hard and not for a baby

We have a small child at home, breastfed, now 2 months old. I was looking for something to gently clean her tongue. I was initially looking for a finger toothbrush but figured this would be more hygienic. I would say it's good for 2-4 year olds and definitely not for 0-2 year olds as stated in the description. The bristles are strong and don't feel soft or baby-friendly. I just saved them for future use. The original purpose was not fulfilled.
