I love the pattern on the front and would make a great gift for any mom. I love that the blanket is not only a great size for a newborn, but is also soft and not too heavy. The only downside I would say is to be careful when washing as the back can be an issue if you don't wash it on a gentle cycle and air dry. I broke a few pieces when unpacking from removing tags, but nothing noticeable that would affect the quilt's function. I'm so glad we bought this blanket for our little one.
